Dear LifeSpring family,
We are challenging our church family to participate in Restoration on the Corner, our three year plan to provide some much needed maintenance and renewal to our facility. As we talk about remodeling and renovating, we can’t lose sight of the why.
Pray with me that the Holy Spirit will lead us, grow us, and strengthen us on this journey together. May Jesus be our guide through Restoration on the Corner and help LifeSpring be a Jesus-focused lighthouse for our community.
Life With God Comes First
Over our 40 years here, thousands have increased their life
with Jesus through Bible studies, small groups, youth events, mentoring, worship, baptism, and weekly preaching of God’s Word.
In the past 25 years, we have helped 268 people celebrate their new birth into the family of God through believer’s baptism.
Most recently, we have intensely discipled 85 adults through The Next Level discipleship program (now called Journey) so that they are equipped to walk with God and others in deeper, God honoring ways.
Cultivating Caring Community
Over the past 40 years, we have hosted hundreds of groups that help people extend Christ’s love and care to one another including grandparenting groups, widows groups, support groups, and a new group for those walking with addicted loved ones.
Over the past 25 years, we have hosted 138 funerals and walked with these grieving families in one of the most fragile times in their lives.
Most recently, we have walked with 45 women to healing from abuse and past pain through the Mending the Soul course.
Sharing God’s Hope
Over the past 40 years in this facility, we have ministered to well over 1,500 children through Vacation Bible School, Club 182, and other kids outreach programs.
Over the past 20 years, we have hosted over 50 homeless families and been part of their journey to healing and self-sufficiency through our ministry with Angel House.
Over the past 10 years, we have mentored over 135 at risk children at Sarah Milner Elementary through Kids Hope, connecting children with Christian mentors who know their names, their dreams, and their struggles.
We regularly host over 800 people from our neighborhood through our large blessing events, Carnival on the Corner and Christmas on the Corner, which allow people to begin to feel safe and trust that a church truly cares about them.
