Welcome to the Children’s Ministries of LifeSpring Church. The Children’s Ministry Team consists of many wonderful volunteers who love to love your kids. We want each child to know they are important to God. Our goal is to provide many opportunities in which a real and personal relationship with Jesus can be nurtured in the heart of each child!
Sunday Mornings
8:45 a.m. Service
KidRock
is for elementary students grades K-5th grade. During large group time your child will experience high energy worship and DVD driven lessons that are Bible based and focus primarily on living out the Christian life in their world. During small group time they meet with similar aged kids to discuss the lessons, review their verses and pray.
10:30 a.m. Service
Sunday School
During our second service we offer a Super Sunday school that is centered around a different Bible story each week. Your child will learn about the books of the Bible, how to use their Bible and do fun games and crafts to emphasize the Bible point. Classes are divided by grade.
Which program should my kids go to?
Many parents choose the service they like best and their kids go to whatever is offered at that time. We would encourage you as a parent to let your kids try both. The programs are meant to compliment each other in that they are very different. Your child will benefit in different ways from each program. You may find your child prefers one over the other or they love both. Many families have their children go to both programs while they attend worship, and an adult class.
4th and 5th Graders
Once a month usually on a Friday night we have a fun night of games and friendship building activities for kids in 4th and 5th grade. Send me, Melanie Kolb, an email if you’d like to me notified about these dates.
Every Spring a class is offered for 4th and 5th graders wanting to know about their faith. Diving Deeper is a 6 week class that covers the basics of the Christian faith including salvation, communion, baptism, using the bible and living out faith in the world.
