When We Work Together We Can Accomplish Great Things!
Work It Out!

"I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to agree with each other in the Lord..” PHILIPPIANS 4:2

A study of several orchestras revealed how musicians view each other: percussionists - insensitive, unintelligent, hard of hearing, yet fun-loving; string players - arrogant, stuffy and unathletic; brass players - loud; woodwinds - quiet, meticulous, a bit egotistical. How do they work together? - by subordinating their personal feelings to the direction of the conductor.

We would like to think that since the Holy Spirit is at work in the church, unity will come easily. However, a look at the early church will show that unity is not something to be taken for granted - it takes intentional action and sometimes it takes work! One way of avoiding this is may be to take distance from the body and not get involved - just show up Sunday morning and that’s enough! That might avoid some minor problems but it means that you will miss the blessing of good fellowship with Christian brothers and sisters. The body of Christ is a gift to us, really a family where we can work together for a good future. Don’t be afraid to be a part of the family - your participation is desired and valued. We can make beautiful music when we are all involved and work together.

QUESTION: What does it mean for you to be a part of the body of Christ? What can you do to experience this more fully?

FAMILY: What do you like best about being part of LifeSpring?
