Our Core Beliefs

Intimacy with God is the power source for personal transformation. – John 15:1-17; Luke 5:16 – We believe that God desires an intimate relationship with every believer through the person of the Holy Spirit.  Spiritual disciplines help us achieve intimacy with Him, evidenced by the fruitfulness of our lives.

We take the Bible seriously – 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21 – We believe that God has spoken to us through the Scriptures and so it is our ultimate authority.

Salvation by grace – Eph 2:8-9; John 11:25– We believe that the only way someone may find life with God is through entering into a faith relationship with Jesus.

Life in Christ – John 1:12-13; 2 Cor. 5:17-21 – We believe that once we enter into a faith relationship with God, we are adopted into his family and have all the rights and privileges of children of the King.  At the same moment we become his children, we are made new in Christ with new desires to please and worship Him; yet still we will struggle with our sin nature until we meet God face to face.

Empowered through the Spirit –Rom 8:9-14; 1 Cor. 12:4-11 –  The Holy Spirit is given to every Christian to empower our witness, guide our mission, comfort our hurts, convict us of sin and supply us gifts in order to give God glory in our world.
